I was wondering about future plans.

The teachings  mention meetings, ceremonies and counciling.

What are the future plans for facilities or other available resourses and public relations?

Our next big step, when we have sufficient funds, is to establish a multi-acre religious retreat/community. This is intended to be a place where selected members can actually live full-time in a Scio-Community, separate from, but in parallel with, society at large, in accordance with Scionics/Scio-Buddhist principles. We also intend to host gatherings, retreats and celebrations of various types and durations, from only a few minutes, to hours, to days, or even longer.

We have not talked about this in any of our writings yet, but whereas other religions strive to achieve immortality by saving imaginary souls, we strive to achieve immortality by saving actual lives. To this end we intend to establish a cryonics facility on the property, for the purpose of preserving individuals in the hope of restoring them to life when the technology exists to do so.

You may well ask how we plan to fund the establishment of this Scio-Community and its cryonics facility. We do have certain plans, but we don’t want to reveal anything specific as of yet. That said, we are certainly open to any suggestions from the community regarding this. The quicker we attain the necessary funding, then of course the quicker we can begin this important phase of our operations.

I was hoping for such a reply.

There are a lot of places in northern Tennessee southern Kentucky.

The land is fairly cheap and their are many places where you can get property that would be secluded.

Plus the area is fairly centralized in the U.S.

We have thought about rural areas, due to the affordability of land, as you’ve suggested. The possibility of being able to personally serve the greatest number of people, however, is pushing us in the direction of looking in the outskirts of some larger city, such as New York. (By “outskirts,” we mean within about an hour or so, but as near as practically possible.) We are heavily leaning towards New York, due to the fact that, not only is it large, but also that it is such a globally recognized cosmopolitan center. In fact, for the same reason, Paris has also been suggested, as there is no reason that this must be an American city.

It should be noted that we plan to eventually establish more than one Scio-Community, but of course someplace must be the first.
